The Fish
Striped Bass, Blue Fish, Cod, Haddock and Blue fin Tuna are all game fish that we seek aboard the Windog. Small or schoolie Stripers arrive in Cape Ann waters around the second week of May with larger fish following 2-3 weeks after that. Large Bass are taken on live bait as well as chunk bait. Bluefish arrive as soon as the water warms up. Bluefish are an aggressive game fish that seem to come from out of nowhere to ambush our trolled baits. School Blue fin Tuna arrive in near shore waters in mid September and provide fast paced light tackle action. Cod and Haddock can be taken all year off of Cape Ann.

The Boat The Windog is a fast, spacious and stable fishing platform. At 26’, she is most comfortably fished with four passengers, though she can accommodate up to six. Weather fishing the coastal waters of Cape Ann or the offshore fishing grounds of the Massachusetts bay, you will be comfortable and dry. The Windog is equipped with the latest fish finding electronics, navigation and safety gear.
	The Captain Captain Scott Prentiss is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain (USGC Lic#892779) and 35 year Gloucester resident. His fascination with fishing started off of the fish piers and docks of Gloucester harbor as a young boy and have expanded to the bays and rivers of Cape Ann.
